For the last twenty years, this family-owned and family-operated restaurant has been serving authentic Lebanese food in an intimate atmosphere to the delight of hundreds of Southern California families in the San Fernando Valley. Whether preparing a typical lunch for a few hungry patrons or catering an elaborate banquet for fifty revelers, our chefs take great pride in ensuring both the taste and presentation of each dish remains true to Lebanese tradition.
Our commitment to culinary excellence starts with serving only the freshest ingredients, from the olive oil that garnishes the hummus to the chopped parsley in the tabouleh to the savory chicken in the shawarma sandwich, We purchase much of our produce from a local farmers’ market (Hisba) and our meat from local distributors. Whenever possible, we strive for the homemade touch, such as with our delightful turnip pickles.
Even patrons with the most discrimination palate have little difficulty finding the perfect menu choice. If you’re in the mood for sampling a wide veriety of food stuffs, then perhaps you should select the classic mazza (hors d’oeuvres) of tabouleh, hummus, baba-gannouj, stuffed grape leaves, and falafel. If you want to sample Lebanese “fast food”, then perhaps you might choose a beef or chicken shawarma sandwich, or some fool, lebena, and lentil soup. If you’re more interested in a standard entrée, then perhaps a special dish like mulkia, bamia, shish-kebab, or sheik almukshi is the right choice. Do you have a sudden urge to satisfy a sweet tooth? If so, then such a crving is best vanquished by one of our fine desserts like baklava, kunafa, namura, or mamul coupled with a good strong cup of Arabic coffee. In any case, we guarantee divine satisfaction for the senses.
